Kadielynne Fisher – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Arvest Bank

Athletes at all levels of competition invest a lot of time and effort in order to continually improve their skills in order to be the best they can be when it comes time to compete. Kadielynne Fisher is a junior at Cache High School and she says that the work is important, but she also keeps herself focused by knowing what the goal is.

“In order to be successful, it has taken spending my own time working and doing what I need to do,” Fisher said. “I always try to make the extra effort. I keep myself motivated by remembering my goal of playing at the next level.”

Kadielynne plays fastpitch and slowpitch softball for the Bulldogs. She is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

During her time of playing softball, Fisher has made a lot of great memories with her teammates, both on and off the field. But she has some that are her favorite.

“I think the highlight moment of my career is when we made it to the state tournament during my freshman year,” she said. “But another is anytime we beat Elgin because they are our rival school.”

There have been people that have had a big influence on her life, helping her become the person that she is today. But Kadielynne has a couple of people that have made a bigger impact.

“My older brothers, Willie and Rusty are my biggest role models,” she said. “I have looked up to them my entire life. One of my teacher that played a big role in my life was Mrs. Crossan. She had the greatest impact on my life because she always believed in me and was so kind to me.”

Fisher and her teammates spend a lot of time together practicing and helping each other get better.

“The teammate I enjoy competing against the most is Brooke Jones,” she said. “It’s because we are both very competitive and we both get better when we face each other. One of our more underrated players is Adison Goodin. She deserves much more credit, she is a very talented player.”
