Cache High School’s Kadielynne Fisher – Softball Spotlight – Presented by Nancy Holcomb State Farm Agent

Cache High School senior Kadielynne Fisher has made her mark as a standout athlete on both the fast-pitch and slow-pitch softball fields. Serving as a pitcher and first baseman, Fisher has become a leader for the Lady Bulldogs, combining talent, work ethic, and heart to set the tone for her teammates.

For Fisher, the game is about more than just wins and losses; it’s about honoring the people who have shaped her. “I’m motivated by my family, teammates, and coaches,” she said. Her biggest influence has been her parents, whose support drives her every day, while her older brothers continue to be her role models. She also credits her teacher, Mrs. Crossan, for leaving a lasting impact. “She always believed in me, and even after I left her class, she’s continued rooting for me,” Fisher shared.

Fisher understands that success doesn’t come without sacrifice. She emphasizes the importance of putting in extra work outside of practice, noting that it takes effort beyond mandatory workouts to truly separate yourself from the competition. That mindset was instilled in her early, and one of her favorite memories is winning regionals and earning a trip to state her freshman year, a moment that set the standard for the rest of her career.

On the field, Fisher thrives in rivalry games, admitting that she enjoys nothing more than beating Elgin High School. She also values her bond with teammate Hadlee Hunt, who pushes her to be better every day. Fisher believes younger players like Kenadi Smith also deserve recognition, noting her strong work ethic and determination.

Off the field, Fisher is active in FCA and looks up to professional softball player Bri Ellis, who inspires her with her openness about mental health in athletics.

As graduation nears, Fisher is proud to represent Cache, knowing that wearing the jersey means setting a standard and leaving a legacy. “I play with a purpose and hope to leave a meaningful impact,” she said. Next year, she’ll take her talents to the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, where she’ll continue her academic and athletic journey as a member of the Drovers.
