Cache High School junior Kase Fourkiller is building a reputation as a relentless competitor on the football field, driven by discipline, family support and a growing love for the game.

Fourkiller, who will enter 11th grade this fall, plays both Mike linebacker on defense and fullback on offense, roles that demand constant awareness and physical toughness. Despite the challenges, he embraces the responsibility.

“The most difficult thing about my two positions is that you always have to be vigilant and know what is going on around you,” Fourkiller said.

That awareness has helped him develop into a key contributor for the Bulldogs, where he values the team’s competitive culture.

“I love that we are competitive and as a team this helps us make each other better,” he said.

Fourkiller credits much of his motivation to his family, who continue to shape his work ethic and perspective.

“My family inspires me because they work hard and make sacrifices for me so I can have the best possible life,” he said.

That mindset carries into both athletics and academics. Fourkiller said social studies is his favorite subject, and he credits Coach Mithlo as his favorite teacher, someone who left a lasting impression during his time in school.

On the field, Fourkiller has already experienced moments that highlight the intensity of high school football. One of the most memorable came during last season’s homecoming game.

“The craziest experience I have had on the football field is when we won our homecoming game against Clinton in double overtime last season,” he said.

However, his favorite football memory dates back even further. During his eighth-grade season, Fourkiller made a pivotal play that still stands out.

“My favorite memory was when I made a momentum-changing pick-six against Chickasha,” he said.

Plays like that reflect his instinctive style and ability to impact the game in critical moments.

Off the field, Fourkiller values the relationships he builds through football just as much as the competition.

“I enjoy getting to hang out with my friends on and off the field,” he said.

When he is not training or competing, he stays active with a variety of hobbies, including fishing, bowling and basketball. He also enjoys traveling and spending time on vacations, which helps him recharge during the offseason.

Through his experiences in athletics, Fourkiller has learned lessons that extend beyond the game.

“Athletics has taught me you have to stay persistent for longer than you had originally thought in order to see what you can accomplish,” he said.

That persistence shows up in his preparation as well. Before each game, Fourkiller focuses on getting mentally ready for the challenge ahead.

“During pregame, I sit there and lock in,” he said.

As he prepares for his junior season, Fourkiller continues to develop as both a player and a leader. With his combination of determination, awareness and team-first mentality, he is poised to play an important role for Cache High School in the coming year.
